A new look, more hotkeys and custom modes
Flow has a new Graphite look and settings that are easier to find.
What changed
New
- Dictation hotkeys can be Fn, a mouse button or a modifier key on its own (macOS and Windows).
- Custom modes: name your own formatting style and pick it like a built-in mode.
- Voice navigation: say a phrase to jump to the composer, chat or terminal, with shortcuts you set to match your editor.
- A microphone boost slider.
- An optional local command line, 2pv, to start, stop and retry dictation from scripts.
Improved
- A new Graphite look across the app, setup, sign-in and the dictation overlay.
- Settings are grouped into Dictate, Writing, Transcription and Advanced.
- If the main transcription engine fails, the recording is retried once on a backup engine instead of being lost.
- Quiet speech is kept: the speech filters are off by default.
Fixed
- Flow no longer signs you out when you switch back to it.
